Very fairly priced, communication was excellent. They take pictures of everything and they explain all options on repairs requested, repairs needed now and what can wait. My repairs were done in a timely manner. Office staff was so nice, friendly. The shop area was organized and clean, they take a lot of pride it looks like. The waiting area/office was clean. I highly recommend you check them out.

My husband has been coming here for awhile now and I just started to for my oil changes (I was going to a terrible chain…) and when I tell you I won’t be going anywhere else I mean it. Everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. When you sit in the waiting room, it’s like sitting in a living room; it’s cozy and they have snacks and colorings books & crayons for the kids. Everything is immaculately clean as well! Wait time? Zero. You can really tell this is a local staple and I’m so happy my husband found them.

I had an awesome experience with Ryan's Service Center. I brought my truck there because it was making a sound that my mechanic could not find. Ryan's service center found the source of the sound and fixed it quick. They even sent me a full report on the health of my vehicle that included pictures and videos of the repair that was completed. I cannot recommend them enough!

I had the A/C in my truck recently repaired at Ryan’s. After two other shops could not find the problem, Ryan’s crew was able to diagnose, supply pictures of their investigation and do the repairs in a timely manner. Now the A/C is nice and cold. Jordan and her team have some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Going back to the 1960’s I used to deliver parts to Ryan’s from Billings Auto Parts in Toms River It does my heart good to see a phenomenally run family business thrive today after all these years! I normally wrench on my own vehicles but changing front struts on my truck put the limitations on these old bones and I looked to Ryan’s Service Center for help. It’s a real pleasure arriving to an impeccably clean shop with a great friendly staff. When picking up my truck i could instantly feel the quality of the work done by technicians that take pride in their workmanship, almost a personal touch! Great family run business and great work. My AC was not working as it should. In addition, my fuel pump was not operable and I had a transmission leak. Thank you for the fix on my 1969 Mercury. Everything is now operational and the AC is ice cold. What a difference! Thank you.

Just another great experience. I made appointment to have front and rear brake pads installed, as well as an oil change. After inspecting my brakes they advised me that the rear brakes did not need to replace and the front brakes would need replacing in the near future. I opted to replace the front even though I could have waited. Their honesty save me hundreds of dollars. I trust them and appreciate not only their honesty, and great servic. Jim Le Tellier I have known the Ryan's since 1969. Not only great mechanics but also, honest and trustworthy business operators. I had work done to my car at a major corporate body shop. They had to realign the front end. This is one of the largest auto groups in this state. After the first alignment the car pulled to the right, I brought it back. They sent me to their GM dealer ship. After the new alignment, the car pulled to the left and the steering wheel was off center and was aggravating to steer. The alignment was so off that the inner wear of the tires had the tread belts exposed. Having owned multiple Cadillacs, it’s hard to find someone other than a good dealer to service them. Ryan's Service Center is the exception! Yesterday, took my car for oil change and rotate tires. They showed me the aforementioned wear. I bought four new tires and had them realign the front end. I am happy to say, it rides like the day it came of the show room. Great job. Jim Le Tellier PS just another great reason to go there.

Yesterday, I had my car serviced at Ryan’s Service Center in Lanoka Harbor for an oil change and a few other maintenance issues. My daughter had been there over the summer with a friend who was having work done and told me they were very fair and the staff was so nice. We looked at reviews and found others saying very positive things! When my daughter needed her oil changed a few weeks ago. She agreed it was an effortless experience, and knows she’ll return for future issues, so I decided to give them a try as well. I dropped my car off the night before, which was great. Communication was easy; they have a texting option for contact which is huge for anyone who can’t take phone calls for any reason. They reached out to me early and kept me updated with progress. There was a small list of maintenance suggestions (nothing that I was surprised to see!) after they inspected my vehicle, but no aggressive pushiness at all! The link they sent to choose whatever you’d like to add was very clear and in order of importance, and included prices so no surprises! The whole experience interacting with Ryan’s was easy and efficient, and I was picking up my car by 2:30. It was my first time inside and I’ve never been in a more welcoming mechanic shop in my life. I was greeted with a little Halloween treat, air freshener, and friendly staff. I left having zero apprehension about using Ryan’s next time!

My car broke down on the side of the road. I had it towed to Ryan’s after they had closed. First thing the next morning they quickly diagnose my car, realized it may be a warranty issue and gave me very important information that helped me with the process with the dealership. I did not know that the manufacturer actually had HUGE issue with fault engines and in result they extended a warranty on the engine. I was able to go to the dealership armed with this information. On top of all of this when I asked Ryan’s how much they wanted to charge me for diagnosis, they said nothing… ZERO! They told me it had only taken a few minutes and they realized the problem. Talk about honesty and fairness! I will definitely use them again for any of my car care needs! 10/18/24- update to my previous post. I used Ryan’s again and with true consistency they did not disappoint. I needed a diagnostic done for an issue I was having… in return I got a detailed report outlining items that needed immediate attention and items that they would suggest to have done at some point in the future. The diagnostic included pictures and thorough findings. They gave me a break down for said repairs and I got to choose what I wanted to do! My service advisor kept me in the loop the whole way via text and phone call and kept me feeling confident in my appointment with Ryan’s. From start to finish a wonderful experience. Thanks again Ryan’s! Your clean facility, thorough technicians, friendly staff and amazing communication truly shows how a business should be ran! I highly recommend this team, you won’t find better!!

I'm from North Jersey. My mechanic is located in Union County. I'm living in Forked River temporarily while I look for a new place as I sold my home. My brakes were bad. I didn't feel comfortable driving it 70 miles to my mechanic to have them replaced. I only knew of one mechanic nearby, but they didn't have availability until the 30th and I couldn't wait two weeks. I found Ryan's Service on Google and based on the reviews, decided to make an appointment online. This was a Monday. I was able to get an appointment Weds. I dropped the car off the evening before. They open at 8. By 10am, I received a text outlining the result of the full inspection of my car. A few mins later, I received a call. They then advised me that they would send over the list of issues and I can approve whatever services I wanted them to work on. He was honest and told me that some issues didn't need immediate attention, and that I could wait if financially I couldn't do everything at once. He put me at ease, and I appreciated the fact that he wasn't pushing me or making it sound urgent just to get a sale. I ended up only getting brakes for now as front and back needed replacement, but, it is good to know what else will need repair and the urgency so I can plan financially what I need to do a little at a time. They even advised me that my inspection is overdue as of August (didn't even realize it as I didn't drive the car much in August). I received a call by 420 that my car was ready. They were very thorough, very nice, polite, and honest. Honest is the key when working with a mechanic bc I like knowing I can trust whomever is working on my car. As long as I'm in Forked River area, I will use Ryan's as my mechanic. I will recommend to others in the area as well. Shop was clean and nicely decorated. The man who took care of me when I came to pick up was very nice and gave us a complimentary air freshener and cookies 🍪 😋 ☺️ Thank you Ryan's for a good experience. I was nervous knowing no one down here. You really made me feel comfortable and at ease. You guys are very professional and amazing at what you do. Jen

Ryans Service Center continues to maintain good service and integrity. I took my son's car in today due to a squeak in the brakes. We recently had them replaced at Ryans. They inspected the brakes and replaced the pads at no charge. Thru their own inspection they determined the brakes were still squeaking and are ordering a new brand ..... also at no charge. They could have easily lied to cover the expense. I will continue to bring all our vehicles to Ryan's Service Center ..... a rare find these days.

Ryan's Servicenter has to be the best mechanic's shop in Ocean County. I had been looking for a shop to perform a balancing, rotation, and alignment on my Tesla Model 3. Every other shop I reached out to was either not able to perform the work or ended up not being able to carry out the work after going in for an appointment. Ryan's Servicenter was able to do these things with no issues and resolved a vibration I had in my car at highway speeds. The quality of work and professionalism demonstrated by the employees here, especially by Rafael, is rare nowadays and a breath of fresh air after dealing with so many other shops. I highly recommend Ryan's Servicenter to anyone needing to get work done on their Tesla.

They are the most patient, generous, kind people that I’ve ever met. Normally when you go in for service for your car, especially when it breaks down, you are nervous and anxious and overwhelmed and they take that all away they make you feel it ease and guide you through the whole process, it was the most fabulous experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic and it’s everybody from the front to the back. There are no better in the area for me. There are no better anywhere if I could do more than five stars, I would.! And when you go pick up your car, they vacuum it and clean the inside and they always leave you a little gift. It’s amazing.!

I had a wonderful experience, from the phone call to book the appointment to paying the bill. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I went in for an oil change. I decided to stay and wait. I was in the waiting room with a woman getting her car serviced. It was an older model Ford that, she said, had been very loved. The mechanic told her she needed a new exhaust. NOT CHEAP. Realistically, yes, she could probably use one, but When she replied, it was evident that she was overwhelmed. She asked how long she could continue driving it before it fell off. He assured her that would never happen and that she would be okay with it unless it failed an inspection, as long as she didn't mind the noise. The simple truth! I Highly recommend Ryan’s!!

I asked them to balance the tires and wheels on a brand new Toyota Camry as I thought there was an issue driving at speed. The dealer said nothing was evident. I took it to Ryan’s and they found slight rebalancing needed on 3 of the 4 wheels. Problem solved!

I have used them for years, and I will always use them. The team are so trustworthy, honest, and the work they do is excellent. They do a complete diagnostic. They break issues down to immediate needs and needs that should be scheduled later. All issues are explained and estimated are given for everything. You can choose what work you want them to perform and decline other work. Everything is kept on file with them. Prices are great, service is wonderful and they are very friendly.

I can not say enough about the staff and service at Ryan’s Automotive. A few months back my check engine light came on. The dealer I bought my car from couldn’t fit me in for 3 weeks. I called Ryan’s and they too were very busy with appointments but offered same day for me to stop by and they would check to see if it was safe for me to continue driving the car until they could service it later the following week.

I was impressed with how this service station operates. I received a detailed inspection report with photos and a quote. This was a courtesy inspection that I did not expect. The inspection was broken down into items that should be done now and then in the future etc. I chose the items I wanted done now. The work was completed when they said it would be. Staff was all very nice. I would recommend this service center.

We live in PA and my sons car broke down while visiting his Aunt. I called and everyone I spoke to was so nice and helpful! They did a complimentary inspection which was unexpected. The inspection was very thorough. They take pictures and send a detailed report of everything. I never seen a report like this before from a mechanic it was amazing! They even send you a picture of who worked on your car and your service advisor. They don’t make you feel obligated to fix anything and were just so nice! This place is on another level! Shout out to Rafael, Mack, and the young lady young I spoke with (so sorry I forgot your name). You all are amazing! Thank you for everything!

Excellent service, trustworthy and honest. They are experts in automotive care and very professional. Customer service is excellent as well and they are always courteous both in person and on the phone. I enjoy their detailed vehicle diagnostic report where you are able to see potential problems and future repairs in advance. Finally, their waiting area is spotless and clean. All around, a great experience. Highly recommend.

Contacted in the beginning of the week via website for a quote on BMW service work. Did receive an initial response to provide the VIN. I e-mailed back the VIN number, same day. After that, I never received any further response. If for any reason, the business could not or did not want to provide service for any reason, a quick reply would have been helpful and appropriate.

Ryan’s was fantastic as always. I spoke mostly with Jourdan on the phone after my car got towed in. My car was done and fixed by the end of the day. Car runs nice and smooth now and I know I don’t have to worry about the repairs failing. Total trust in them for years.

Our family has been using Ryan’s since we moved here in 2018. Ryan’s is hands down the best in town that we’ve found. They have worked on all of our vehicles (truck, jeep, mustang, Lexus suv, Tahoe, etc) and they go above and beyond to give you a detailed list of the issues along with pictures. They are honest and reliable and we won’t take our vehicles anywhere else.
